Article: Eating Fats Doesn't Make You Fat

Excellent article. I just wish 90% of the doctors or family physicians would get up to date with this. They all still preach to me to lay off the coconut oil and cheese etc. they say it will greatly increase m risk of heart problems! Nevermind my cholesterol being very low and no health markers to actually back up their claims.
It's obviously 1950's tech they were taught and held onto to this day.

I feel exactly the same. Drs are just stuck in the past. Gym instructors/PT's that I know still think fat is bad for you. They also think that intermittent fasting is bad for you. Why don't they read the latest research and keep up to date. One PT told a client not to eat carbs at night because your body doesn't know what to do with them so they just store them as fat, what so your body thinks oh know it's past 18.30 I can't process these.

Doctors are slow to catch on. I think they do this because there are so many fads that catch on and turn out to be horrible or your health. IE, hydrogenated veg oil (read trans fat) was once touted a "healthy" ingredient opposed to whole foods like lard and tallow. You need to find a progressive doctor. I look at it this way: certain things are meant to be eaten and certain things are not. Too much of anything can be bad and anything that is highly processed is usually **** for your body (read protein bars), regardless of macros.
