Article: Do Ice Baths Reduce Soreness?

Ice Baths in college saved my life lol, Simple Transition from pool to hot tub a few times works close enough at the local "Y" IMO

In my opinion ice baths are great for any athlete or regular gym goer. If you are beating your body up in the gym, even with mobility work and SMR you need recovery. Icing and ice baths are such a good way to reduce inflammation, it's amazing. Miserable, yes. If my knee's, elbows, shoulders or back are nagging me after training an ice bath followed by a hot shower usually alleviates any issue.

How many people really have time for all this rehab and prehab work though

Anyone and everyone. People waste such a crazy amount of time everyday watching tv or doing nothing. 10 minutes prehab before a workout, and 10 minutes of stretching post workout, followed by a 5-10 minute ice bath isn't exactly sucking up lots of time. I'll tell you what does though, injuries.

Hell yea!!! The time spent doing prehab nd cooling down later is def more important than the workout itself IMO for the best results
