Article: Common Training Mistakes

These training techniques were absolutely true for me. Going through the motions vs exploding at the start of the rep and taking your time down in a controlled fashion makes all the difference in results is muscle size and setting a new personal record over and over again. Plus lowering slowly allows you to feel the muscle group better and get a better pump on the set.

Agreed. Since learning more about time under tension I have gained size. I'm a somewhat explosive individual so I would always lift fast, it came naturally but I didn't gain size. 3-4 second reps is what I try to focus on now. pumps are epic with increased TUT. Also I enjoy supersetting with as little rest needed to hopefully up the metabolism.
