3g is the magic number? I've only been using 2g preworkout, I'll have to try this out. Is there synergy between citrulline and arginine? I stopped using arginine cause I read it didn't really do anything, that citrulline I'd what really works...
 
No, it didn't say 3 grams was the magic number, it said 3 grams had the equivalent effect as 6 grams of Arginine in a study of heart patients. Jim Stopanni's Pre Jym has 6 grams of citrulline malate per serve.
 
With that said, citruline is 2x more than citruline malate, which i heard is more important than citruline malate. So if pre jym had a 6grams of cit malate, therefore it only contains 3grams of citruline. Some people like citruline alone, beacause that is the study that produce more pump taking before workout.
 
Cit mal is typically 2:1, so the 6g would yield 4g citrulline. Base the dosage off the citrulline content as some products vary the ratio. An undisclosed ratio likely means it is under dosed. I like 4-6 g of citrulline typically, which would be 6-9 g cit mal. The difference it makes for me is extremely noticeable.

Omg you serious? I was been taking prami mast clomid cialis citrulline and started removing things trying to figure out what was making things so intense - I'm talking borderline painful. I was going to write it off as good mast hahaha.
 
Another benefit of Citriluline was posted on AM and Iron Mag a few months ago: It enhances nutrient uptake in the intestins, particularly protein uptake.
