The study was done "in collaboration with DuPont Nutrition and Health". Those guys makes and sell "DuPont™ Danisco® isolated soy protein" and "SUPRO®, a new soy protein isolate". Wow, what a surprise that a study they funded supports the use of their product!!
Well at least this article gave disclosure that the study was supported by a manufacturer. Wonder how many similar articles out there skip this tiny detail.
