Article: Can Resveratrol LOWER The Effects Of Exercise?

I wonder what doses they were using in the study.

Never mind i skipped the part that says 250mg a day for 8 weeks

250mg is a ridiculously low dose compared to the typical dose of 1-2g used in studies like this... There has been some research suggesting resveratrol has the capability of interfering with the mTor metabolic pathway so I suppose there is some plausibility that some effects are negated in older previously inactive men... But I'm not sure i buy it. I would like to have seen this done while their nutrition was actually controlled and resistance training was involved.

Your correct res does affect mtor by stimulating PPAR it's a timing game with this supp and you gotta know your stuff

Res is great for fitness but not at that level, you would get no benefit but you would affect the mtor pathway so even less benefits
