Article: Caffeine: The Silent Killer of Success

this article is okay. but it doesn't take into account that if you have no caffeine habit and drink caffeine obviously you will be above baseline.

This is why anyone who uses caffeine for performance, has to listen to their body to know how much they need. Example: some preWo I only take 1 scoop, others 1.5 depending on the mg dosage. For me 300mg is the perfect amount. I can hit the weights hard and still go to sleep at night.

Stim breaks! Mentions adrenals but doesn't really go into cortisol or adrenal fatigue. If you take your breaks (we all hate it) you'll be okay! Problem is just like calories, its all the little **** adds up. People drop pre workout, toss in some fat burner thought the day, have a soda or some crazy ass coffee here and there, that's where we get in trouble. If you wake up at 2 or 3 every morning with your heart racing its time for a month or two of just taking hemavol or high volume. You can still have a great workout stim free! (You'll have a really bad weekend of withdraw migraine )

I drink a pot of coffee a day minimum. black. Not even mad.

Havnt done a preworkout though since the days of Jack3d.

nice read. I do not take a lot of coffee, but when i do, i feel more sleepy. It acts like a sleeping pill for me. Weird!

Invalid Link Removed enabled me to gain 21 inches in less than 6 months.

I call b.s. on the caffeine withdrawl being the only reason there is a temp boost. Not gonna continue after such nonsense

References please? This article is a far cry from the preponderance of latest research on caffeine consumption both on health outcomes as well as performance. I guess you can't believe everything you read on HuffPost. ;-)
