Article: Bodybuilding Isn't Mysterious Anymore

I dunno none of my friends really seem to know anything other than what I tell them, I don't think the average body builder chooses to be an academic and spend a bunch of time doing research. I compare the reading and cross referencing I do online to be a lot like college classes, but without the credits. I have spent hundreds, if not thousands of hours researching all for self gratification - so wanting to know this information is because you're passionate about it, and not a lot of people want to take the time to understand everything because they're lazy. "Give me a magic formula of nutrition, workout programming and drugs to get me what I want" or more commonly "give me a magic pill." There isn't one, its hard work, dedication and budgeting what it takes to get there.

If only I could train as consistent and often as I read. I get plenty of odd looks with a pull-up bar over the office door. I can only imagine the looks if I brought in a squat rack. Still debating it though... split workouts would be cake.

I hear you about friends not knowing much about fitness. When I'm in peak shape, I get "Are you on juice" and "What is your secret" all the time. "Ahh, lots of protein, BCAA's, creatine, HIIT, Heavy Ass weight, Compound lifts, sleep and 200+ hours in the gym in the last year. Hard work bro. Its no secret."

Ok, back to wasting the companies money on anabolic research.
