Article: Bodybuilders are made in the school playground

I second that, along with rude kids on the playground. That's something I take very seriously with my son. Bullying is not allowed in home, school, or on the field.

It's funny to think about Jay Cutler getting bullied. I doubt this extends to people outside the actual sport itself though, people workout for a myriad of reasons.

I was bullied early pretty much my entire freshman year of HS. It was definitely my original motivation to build muscle. I was skinny as ****.

So in a way, I should thank the guys that bullied me lol. I turned out alright but unfortunately they stayed dumb and ugly :/

I was raised watching Popeye, He-Mam, Superman 1-3, Conan, Rambo, Rocky 1-4, and had my 1st weight set at 5y.o. before the majority of people didn't even know how to build muscle.

I'm going to guess that people like myself make up the majority of bodybuilding, and not bullies.

Article never mentions a majority, they just use the word 'many.'

I get stuff like Conan, Rambo, He-Man and Superman... But Popeye? lol
