Article: Arnold Schwarzenegger's Tips for Bigger Quads

I'm hooked on the high rep philosophy. I've added it to my arm workout(Big spurt in size).
Now I will add it to the Quads(zillas),Thanks Arnold

I met Arnold back when he was doing Presidential Physical Fitness program for Bush. Shook his hand and got an autograph.. I've me Big Lou as well. .. I've always incorporated Arnolds philosophies into my workout. Like him I'm also over 6 foot tall. Back then they were a lot more big tall bodybuilders but nowdays... I'm like Gulliver and the liliputs. Leg development has always been a priority for me because of my height I really needed more legs than a shorter guy to have the symmetry needed and Arnold was same way so I would use a lot of his techniques for legs. I ended up going with front squats instead of regular back squats... eventually working up to and past the same weights I used for back squats. +455 for 17 reps.. then the really fun stuff starts. 20 rep sets of lunges, extensions and or leg presses... But not light... 400-500lbs presses atleast... lunges are always last as I don't want to use weight so I want them pretty well toasted by that time... it's a flexibility movement for me actually... i rarely do extensions, usually just for warmup at beginning or drop sets at the end.....

But Arnold's quads sucked... Just saying

OBVIOUSLY they didn't suck 6x Olympia winner they were better than anyone else's and guarantee better than yours.. At 6'2" it's not easy growing huge quads and also not using huge amount of juice like guys nowdays.

Yea your right his quads are better than mine. I would hope a 6 time mr olympia would have bigger quads than a 19 year old lol.

And don't get me wrong brother, Arnold is my favorite bodybuilder of all time and a major inspiration for me in life.

I love his physique and prefer his to the Olympia's of today, that's why my username is G_E_Training (Golden Era Training).

I didn't mean any disrespect to him, I love the guy. I just think his legs were his worst feature. Maybe it was just that his chest and upper body was so f***ing massive that it made his legs look like the average joes.

All good. And he's waay taller than the typical bb'r especially nowdays where tall guys are 5'10".. making his legs appear even thinner as well as just a massive upper body especially arms chest and back.. if anything his shoulders may have lagged behind the rest of upper body... if that. Not many Paul Dillets walking around
