Article: Are multivitamins really essential?

If your protein intake is 4X more than how much they recomend ,why not also the vit and minerals? When you practice any kind of sport ,that amount it is not enough. So it worth or not to increase your daily uptake? Do you know how many vitamins and minerals you lose after training? Smart boy!

I'm thinking the author of the article is of the "couch potato" clan. And he's right, that is all he needs to maintain his activity level!!

This is a crap article. Everyone knows the FDA recommendations on vitamins and minerals are too low.

Yup, and demand for nutrients will be increased if you're training.

Realistically speaking there is no danger of overdosing on vitamins, assuming you're only taking a reasonable amount and aren't an idiot.

And multivitamins are cheap.

Not to mention the fact that a vast majority of people dont eat the kind of variety and micronutrient dense meals required to reach necessary levels on a daily basis as he does, or did in order to write this article with a screenshot.
