Also it works out to be an hour/day for the resistance training group. If it is truly 3 sets per day, that's 36 reps in an hour. Uh, you mean that didn't create a metabolic response?
How do you manage to take a 180 mins to do 9sets??????
Who takes an hour to do 3 sets? So they took ~19 mins rest between sets?
What did they do? Squat? Bench? Pinky finger curls?
By randomly selecting the groups, you could have had one group who were really fat one were really old etc which would skew the results. They needed to balance the groups to remove this problem. Caloric intake was also not controlled. You could have had one piggy who screwed it all up.
This whole study was poorly designed and obviously run by a bunch of idiots to come up with their conclusions.
