Hi guys, I have a question concerning gynecomastia for someone who doesn't have any history of AAS use. What causes this and is the treatment the same as it would be for steroid induced gyno? Secondly i wanted to know if the gyno would simply come back after the protocol was stopped?

Thanks

Thanks for the help. what does that kind of surgery roughly cost?

Taking an AI or SERM will get rid of it if it is caught early enough. But if it’s from puberty then surgery is the only way to go. To get it done right it’s pricey. In the US it ranges from 7,000-10,000 dollars. Since it is a cosmetic issue insurance will not cover it you have to go to a plastic surgeon

This helps a lot man thanks. Its weird, I never noticed it through my teenage years, only in the last 6 months to a year. Im 24 now, but ill go see a specialist to determine what the issue is and what the correct procedure is.

A serm may reduce the size of it but will never totally get rid of it.

How long can people stay on SERMS for? How functional is a person after the surgery, would you be able to go on with life (except training) as normal?
