Aromasin affect on e2 blood levels...

The PK properties of the 25-mg dose showed the highest exemestane concentrations 1 h after administration, indicating rapid absorption. The terminal half-life was 8.9 h. Maximal estradiol suppression of 62 +/- 14% was observed at 12 h.
 
Ok thanks. Been on 500mg test E starting week 3 and getting estro sides. Started aromasin last Sunday at 12.5 and then again on tuesday. Was going to do every other day but still felt sides on Friday so started dosing 12. 5 since then
Trying to not tank e2 but avoid sides. Thanks

Go with 12.5 ed until you feel like you’re in range and then back off to EOD
 
Like I said up there, it should start working an hour after you take it. Found this elsewhere - "The half-life of Aromasin is only about 9 hours, and clears quickly. However, because of how effective Exemestane is at eliminating Aromatase enzymes (80-90% after administration), estrogen levels will remain low up to 72 hours after a single dose of 25mg"
 
I was trying to find a snippet I had read a while back. It was like after 24 hours, e2 is lowered by xx%, and after 48 hours still lowered by xx% but I can't locate that exact paragraph again. Maybe someone else knows what I'm referring to

“There is a great study on the pharmacokinetics of exemestane in men which found the following:
-24 hours after one 25mg dose estrogen levels are reduced by 70-80%
-72 hours later estrogen levels are still 40% below baseline even though the drug itself is almost completely eliminated
-120 hours after initial dose estrogen levels return to baseline (without rebounding)

this means that you can find the timing and dosage that works for you, i've seen some guys recommend between 25mg ed and 12.5mg e4d, and you can see why both are effective while providing different levels of estrogen suppression, and it is this flexibility that makes exemestane such a versatile anti-e.”
 
The only other thing, that actually never occurred to me until just this second, is that's probably a study done with guys who are not on, let's say, 500mg of test a week. Think that makes a big difference? Obviously it would still lower estrogen but it has to make some kind of difference, right?

Well, it was done in percentages, rather than specific amounts, so that is a plus. ..and I would think that it would also make it more applicable to people on gear.

Obviously higher doses of aromatizing androgens will require higher doses of aromatize inhibitors. Not sure if that answers that question or not.
 
That is my thought. 500mg of test a week probably needs a higher dose of an AI. Still going to start with the 12.5 and go from there. First cycle so I think I am a high aromatizer.
 
The irritation and nipple burn is gone today. Thinking about letting today go and start dosing eod and see from there on.
 
Think I feel a lump in my right pec or it could be in my head. I have been taking 12.5 of aromasin a day. I have nolva on hand and arimidex also. Any thoughts??
