Armed militants angered by a cartoon

I think it's interesting to note that a Middle Eastern/ Islamic culture that seems to lack tolerance for anyone who thinks different from them, but at the same time are not as culturally "advanced" (i.e. many have said they believe Muslims still live in the Dark Ages) as much of the "West" would be expected to reason the same way a western society would.

Meaning, think about how limited education is, how the right to think for yourself is suppressed and how those w/ guns are the ones w/ power. It's logical to believe that w/ an uneducated, intolerant group of individuals people who have never thought for themselves are going to be persuaded by those in power.

Your "straightforward observation" was exactly the kind of self-blaming nonsense that has handcuffed the West in dealing with the Islamist problem for years. You've just expressed more anger at the board and the people here than I've ever heard you express against the violence and insanity of the Islamist threat. Nice.

Expressed anger at the board? Thats absurd. Quote where I 'expressed anger'. Get over your paranoia, I'm not blaming the west.

Excuse me but I appreciate the unique view MarcussG brings forth. Give him freedom to shine the light where he wishes. Perhaps his point was to make you think and nothing more. What one chooses to do with that information is your business. I detect no hostility in his view point. Only pointing out, or should I say being a bit of the devil's advocate.

I dont know about you , but I am here to expand my mind, that generaly comes from opening it to other views. Instead of resistance and futile debate. In short, take it as you will and leave it.

Many of them are schooled in the West, then return to be leaders in their terrorist factions. They take advantage of everything the west has to offer, then go home and fill their people full of lies. (except for the ones that can no longer tolerate the living conditions in their own country and choose to stay here and live the good life while causing trouble every chance they get)
