Arm Pain. Any Help Or Information On It?

For the past week my wrist/forearm has been pretty sore after doing a certain motion. Say you are packing a tin of tobacco, I can't do this for the life of me or it feels like stabbing pain in my arm. To help show you where the pain is, it is on the right side of my arm above the elbow. So between the elbow crease and the elbow but on the outside of that.

The pain is ridiculous. I had it for about a week and it wasn't too bad. It hurt for a while. Tried to recover two days, thought it wasn't too bad and then went to the gym today to find out I really messed it up. I have no idea what may be causing this. Tendonitis possibly?

Any suggestions or opinions on what this may be? What would be causing this? What should I avoid?

Would really appreciate all the help I can get. :)

Thanks in advance for any advice.

you did but you didnt.. you said you have no idea. well if you can tell us how long its been occuring that may help with answering questions..good luck with that arm pain my friend

Well its been going on for about a week and a half.

It is basically between my elbow and elbow crease is. If my palm is face up it would be on the right side above the elbow a bit. Its actually more towards my wrist rather than right between my elbow, but its in that general area.
