Are there non-plastic syringes? For HOT liquids?

I was wondering if they made pyrex Syringes or something that can be used instead of a plastic Syringe with the rubber end on the plunger. I hate using these to filter hot liquids because it often melts the connection for the needle and the black rubber part on the plunger.

Anyone have any ideas?

you might check at a vet supply place. I know that when I used to have cattle that you can get the NON disposible metal and glass syringes..

That would probably work great for making gear! Even if it isn't 100% sterile, it will be after it goes through the filter!!
