Is going to be a good day for music Chevelle is coming out with Vena Sera, which has already been leaked online, and Static-X has a new release titled Cannibal. There's a promo EP for Cannibal floating around too.

I've only listened to Vena Sera twice, but it is good stuff. I didn't like This Type of Thinking... (Chevelle's last album) that much, but this one is much faster-paced and a bit heavier. I definitely recommend it.

AFAIK only four songs from Cannibal have been released, and they are all f*ing awesome. But what else would you expect from Static-X?

Nice, chevelle is a good band...kinda cool that they are three brothers...I suppose iTunes will get a few more bucks from me on the 3rd

used to be a huge static-x fan, but they've never quite captured the energy of their first album...i've heard a few songs off of the new album and it is OK, nothing to flip over, i just keep hoping they will go back to their Wisconsin Death Trip days....
