Apowerz6 Ready For War Contest Thread !!!

Well to answer you both, the heavy class in the past 2 shows have only been like 3-5 in the class. Whereas light heavy had like 10-15. I know my good assocaiste of mine is dieting down for the middleweights, so he can take the class, he is really a light heavy but to win he is going to go down.
As for me an the 5htp I have been looking into that but the only way I can find it is with valerian which for me def causes drowsiness.
So what I have been doing is keeping quiet. The only setback is my forearm but i will be alright. Have been doing HIIT cardio twice a day once when i wake up, and before i go to bed.
Just waiting on some "hardening agents" and I will incorparate them once I get them. Tried to run Some stan, but my joints were not happy, so I will run stan the last 2 weeks, because HIIT with it will not work.
Diet wise, I have dropped out a nice amount of Carbs, and being the unforgiving Endo I have to do it. keeping that protein HIGH and those Amino's rolling to keep my energy high. When I do have my carbs I use GXR and it helps well. Well thats all, and remember
MONTAGE !!!

Right now I am 26 days away!!!:jaw: As far as my T3 intake, it is funny most seem to say that is quite low. Which it is, but for me when I go over 50mcg, its too catabolic for me. As I am not on any strong androgens. I wish that were not the case, but I have tried going over 50, and when I did I lost 5lbs in less than 4 days.

Supp changes:
Starting to run eca because Venom H3.0 was out at my usual place :smite:
Bought lean Dreams and that is a very nice addition to my stack, as it greatly helps my sleep. Running Dicana with the T3 is greatly helping as ALR mentioned running low doses of all three, but i cannot get T4 right now.

If you notice that you are not leaning out towards the show you can up your dose. I was at 100 mcg for 2 and 3 weeks out. I have cut it down to 25 now for the week of the show, mixed with 160 mcg of clen I have been doing great

Def thinking about that Ripped, as me and a good friend of mine a fellow competitor were assessing my posing, and all I def think i need to still come in more leaner, so I'd rather, come in lean than too heavy, as a 5lb gain is literally night and day.

OK, it has been 2 days after my comp, and I must say thank you all for your support and gracious wishes. Well the Apo came in 4th place, or shall I say last place in Heavyweight division. Tough class, but I must admit it was lost by me because of conditioning, and lack of leg development. So, being the type of person who does not like defeat, I was back at the gym today, ready for my next comp on Sept 16th in which I will redeem myself. Pics will be coming soon, as well as other details about the show...

Its ok bro, you live and learn. :D Knowing the type of person that you are, there's only good things for you in the future. You are already more of a man than me, cuz you would never see my azz up there on stage in front of all those people!!!

first comp, placing = means nothing.

doing it is what matters, brother. props to you for doing it.

next comp = much better apowerz6 :)

Hey better luclk next time, dont quit! You have the power, the drive, now get right back on the stick and do it good for all of us here at AM :)

yes you have always been great on this board with advice and everything else One thing I always tell me teammates is the difference between a loser and a winner is a looser sees losing as failure a winner sees losing as a success because Trying is what counts.

Props for all the strict dieting, training and dedication that it takes to compete, and making it to the competition! Just remember, like Grunt said, first comp placing = nothing! It's all a learning process, and you will definately get a heck of a lot better bro!

Congrats Ap. You got it out of the way now you can focus on what needs to be done for Sept. You got on stage and faced all the people in the crowd. That is an acomplishment in its own. Look forward to the pictures and once again congradulations

Wow. thanks alot, I am here at work trying to fix pics, but overall I am amazed by the support you guys have given me. So the play by play went like this:

Friday night like a big dummy, I was driving around instead of resting, getting last minute comp stuff, because I rested thursday (ass backwards I know) Anywhoo, I was up until 3 am getting prepped, as my wife put the last coat of pro tan on, did the at home teeth whitening thing, and posed and such, I was quite nervous all the way until i finally was forced to sleep, by sheer tiredness. 6 am I was up and ready to go, showered, and weighed myself !!! at sheer horror I was 205...not where I wanted to be so I thought. I said no worries, poped some L-arginine with little water, along with some BCAA's and was out the door to the comp. I get to the comp, at 8:30 because check-in is at 9am. I check in, but as I am walking in you see the game faces of of the seasoned vets looking each competitor up and down. I was ishin bricks, as I see some people with gaunt faces, and fire in their eyes, I see women who look like men in better shape than me, and I see serious mass monsters sleeping in pure relaxation, as if this comp is another day for them.
I check in, and make a wise choice-I enter Heavyweight Novice only as I was still in Heavyweight class ( i was pissed because usually heavyweight class is filled with freaks, and I thought I could not hold a candle to them, so I aimed to come in as a tall light-heavy) I popped a dyazide to see if I could drop to LH's by weigh-in. Then more and more people checked in by 10:15 all 130 competitors checked in. The meeting starts, and line-ups are called. I pissed like a race horse, and by the time of the LH weigh in it turns out to be 19 competitors in the novice class, and 21 in the open class. So I am thinking ohh ish, I def did not need to be in thi class hopefully the dyazide soes not make me be in this class...
By weigh ins i am 200lbs even -pheeeww... slow carb-up begins with vitargo. and little water. I feel great, and talk to some peeps I know. Prejudging time, and I see that I have 4 competitors who are ripped beyond belief, and one is **** loading like crazy, comes to find out this guy flew in from Russia, just for this contest. He outweighs me by 10 lbs, and looked great, while being the same height-6'1".
Pre-judgung is done, and I pretty much know I am in last place but it is cool, as I am focused on the night show, and looking better, and thinking about the next show and how to do it. I eat with the wifey and some other competitors, and drive back to the comp. While resting, i decide, hey why not pop a Venom. WRONG effing move !!! 30 minutes later my notorious cramps in my legs come but worse than before. my left leg seized, and for 1 hour it seized in waves, as my wife rushed to the store to get 1 gallon of water, and and OJ, while I screamed in the worse pain I can say is with me today. I gulp down the OJ, and wait, and by that time I am drained, and barely able to walk. I go back to the building, and lay down, and low and behold my legs seize while resting them on a bench while lying on the floor. A fellow competitior says how much salt have you had today, and I think holy sheit- none, so I ask my wife to go to the concession stand to get me a hot dog. A hot dog never tasted soo good. Cramps over!!!
Night show goes over well, as we pose to our music, while the light heavies (novice) are compared 3 times in the night show, while already enduring three seperate call-outs in prejudging. Needless to say I was happy, because If I had of dropped in weigt like planned, I don't know if i would be typing today, one of my friends was a light heavy, and he dried out so nicely, yesterday he could barely walk, or talk, it was that effing grueling. Overall I made some connections, and I am proud my parents, and friends came, and I rocked it... Pics on the way, be patient...

Sounds like a fun day bro, lol. Ya one wrong move and you can seriously f--k things up. You want to get things ready next time so you can just chill the day of the show
