Anyone use MK 677 in a cut?

I like Mk in a bulk in the month prior to using an oral. It adds some size and leverage for heavier lifting, then the oral afterwards increases insulin sensitivity for renewed growth potential and picks up the waterweight I lost from MK.

Can you say a little more on this? I know that higher test levels have a positive relationship with greater insulin sensitivity, but is there something more beneficial with taking an oral anabolic?

Btw, I'm back on MK right now, and taking Metformin XR along with it to help negate blood sugar issues. We'll see how it goes.

I have heard from some due to the appetite increases it causes cutting with MK 677 may not be wise. Anyone do this successfully? Did you do something in particular to control it’s increased appetitive cravings successfully?
Hey OP I have used MK on a cut for about 4yrs straight now. I run it all year round including my cutting phase. I've been very successful with the aid of EC preworkout/once a day to control my appetite with ease. A1c levels always within ref range and fasting glucose never goes out. Cortisol... well I never ran blood work for it but i can if it really was a concern. Invalid Link Removed

No, I have trt bloods coming up.

Side note on the MK 677, i don’t know if it was placebo, but it seemed to increase anxiety for me which I am prone to with just one dose. I did read a study in rats where it was shown to increase fear in rats so I wouldn’t be surprised if it was the MK that did that too.

Anxiety and just straight up being more fearful, coupled with bad sleep, is why I stopped taking it. It's common and it makes sense.

There seem to be two camps in regards to Mk. Some really love it - but others just cant stand it. I think it's a great drug, if you can stand it. But it's a bad drug if you force yourself with it. Lot's of people also aren't that aware of their anxiety. They just react to it, change their behavior.

It can do that and it did sometimes for me.

however in my case it was as simple as low blood sugar ( weird eh, chronically elevated igf causes insulin resistance but acute blood sugar drops are possible, hence the lethargy).

It would happen to me at night, i would wake up feeling anxious abd weak, as i used to dose before bed and i usually wouldnt eat for like 4 or 5 hours before falling asleep.

A little chocolate or bread and my anxiety would be gone.

For me it was all the time. I hated it. Just the fact that you are hungry all the time is stressful.

I tried ghrp2 a couple of months ago. While the fullness was great, the hunger really got to me. Like super anxious, nervous, couldnt take it. I mean, I probably could, but I've got a life outside of gym and I need to perform there as per usual. If I was a pro, maybe I would be willing to deal with it.

Well, removing the Mk (that will push your fasting glucose up some) helps lower it, and then adding more androgens further lowers it/improves nutrient partitioning.

So it’s not that it’s adding an oral - you could any androgen. I just like MK prior to the oral for strength reasons because it gets me some waterweight leverage before I even start the oral, so I can begin training with the more advantageous leverages sooner. Ie get stronger sooner.

Friend of mine gets the same effects as you, and we used the same brand. Otoh, I have an anxiety disorder coupled with OCD (on Lexapro 10mg ed), but MK has never made me feel more anxious or obsessive. And it greatly improves my sleep. It's crazy how these substances can affect people so differently.

I do have to watch my post-workout carb intake, and I am generally low-carb year-round. Also, I never go over 12.5mg ed... and most of the time it's 12.5mg eod... so I think that keeps me from feeling the insane lethargy and bloat I experienced years ago on 25mg.

Well ... you are on an SSRI which is an anti-anxiety / antidepressant med. I also took Lexapro at exactly 10mg for a certain period of time and I can tell you right off the bat: being on it while taking Mk would have helped a lot. My anxiety was severely diminished on it. To add to that you are taking only 12.5 oed, I ,and most other do the same, took 25mg ed. Or was it 20mg, don't remember. Anyway, very different circumstances indeed, can't compare really.

I should've been more clear... I was not on Lexapro when I dosed it at 25mg ed for 3 months. Still no effect on anxiety for me at least, but again, individual brain chemistry obviously plays into that.

Just as a side note, when my test levels are super low, i get this weird extra response to auditory stimuly, perhaps fear response as you call it.

For example hearing a bang outside, or sth falls to the floor in the house, normally i wouldnt get startled at all, but being on clomid and/or having extremely low test lvls makes me easily startled.

However, never had that experience with mk. Just intense blood sugar drops.

Makes sense.
