Anyone here take boron?

I ordered some after reading about how it increases free testosterone and lowers SHGB. I have read studies that state it increases SHGB however. I took 9mg of it yesterday and it seemed to make me tired, but really relaxed. Has anyone here had any positive effects from it? The thing is, I'll be 28 and although that is not old, I am also almost 30 and I've never gotten the results I want. That's partly due to bad training, partly due to bad diet and partly due to having flat feet, which is being corrected soon. I'm not really looking for anything that will greatly increase my testosterone at this point. Partly due to not having much money and partly due to not wanting to remain dependent on a substance that could be banned. I am taking what I can to pretty much optimize my own testosterone production. That being stated, I have read other benefits associated with boron. Supposedly it renders fluoride inert, it increases bone density and helps the absorption of magnesium. Thoughts?

It's too late at night for a long response, but the down and dirty is:

Yes I've used boron. The science is "decent" but not GREAT regarding test increases.

However, it IS a cheap addition. Increases in test occurred 10-11 days after continuous use iirc.

I don't think you'll "notice" anything from just boron, but it won't hurt either.

LJ100 might be a better option imo.

I haven't done any research on it but from the knowledge I already possess, trace elements like boron are usually just cofactors which are needed to synthesize whatever they are needed for. If that's the case, then boron supplement shouldn't really help out much cause it's not a major determinant factor.

Well, here's an update. First off since taking boron, my mood has been better. I have no needed to take rhodiola to help my mood like I have been the past few months. When I went to the gym, I was able to do 55 pounds(per arm) on the overhead press machine, 70 pounds(per arm) on the bench press pulley machine, and 80 pounds on the seated row machine. Keep in mind, two weeks prior I was only able to do 35 per arm on the overhead press machine, 50 pounds on the bench press machine and 60 on the seated row. Keep in mind I have not been lifting for 3 month because of my flat feet issues, which I am getting surgery for later this month. With the exception of seated rows, those new numbers are equivalent to what I was using doing those exercises with dumbbells. So, I have notice a difference with boron, but it isn't anywhere to the degree of using anavar or anything like that. At least that's what I'm assuming, I have never used anabolics.

Interesting. Sub'd.
