Anyone here around Scranton, PA?

Hey,

Just curious if anyone here is from the Scranton, PA area. Are there any good gyms in the area? Things to do?
 
Oh.. I wouldn't know since I have never been down there. I am gonna be moving down there for 6 months for a co-op position.
 
I'll be moving to Allentown, PA soon. That's about 75 miles south of you IIRC.

Isn't Harrisburg 2 hours from Scranton? On the map it's like 120 miles.
 
not from the area at all, nor am i familiar with it BUT the office takes place there and its a fantastic show

Check out Browns Gym. It is only about 5 minutes north of Scranton.

Ok, actually a little more than an hour but I also live closer up north as well. Harrisburg is just easier to find...

Besides, who drives 60 mph? :)

Yeah that looks like the my future gym. The co-op who is living at the apartment I am moving into says its close to the apartment and is open 24/7 which is nice.
 
my lady friend is originally from there. dps nutrition (an awesome site) is located there (taylor) and accepts walkins.

gym wise no clue.

go see a scranton penguins game though, good time for cheap.

I'm still used to New Jersey where it takes over an hour to travel 30 miles.
 
For the record the MuscleMag store has amazing prices. Browns gym is also a real nice gym for the price and its super close to my apartment. Now I just need to find some cool people from the area.

haha, I'm from allentown, in fact i'm transferring and will be closer than ever.
 
im up in penargyl alot, which is near allentown. theres a few good gyms to goto, i just usually go the cheap route and hit up a ymca since i have a membership in delaware.
