Difference between laying down a bike and dropping it and crashing. Imo Dropping is not moving, laying it down is low siding/high siding, and crashing is what it says it is. If I lay it down and scratch some stuff up then fine, that's life. I fix it up and move on.

Might want to call the dealer and ask the price of a new fairing. Probably will surprise you.
