Any Updates on Cardarine?

Hi Everyone,

I was always fascinated by Cardarine, and feel so tempted to try, as many chemists can make in Russia and China.

1. Any updates on its human usage?

I know some government sites compile info, such as Australia's excellent one: https://www.tga.gov.au/book-page/12-cardarine

2. Can anyone who has tried it, or seen others try it, see the use?

If it was something as dangerous as DNP, those users would be dead by now. I know, that's an extreme example of a fat loss burner gone wrong.

But, I wonder if it is like a Phen-Fen or Ephedra, in that it seemed okay, but people who took it regret it.

3. Any other info we can share?

I’ve used Ephedra, no regrets at all.
Pre workout, with 200-300mg caffeine is better than any of these crazy exotic pre workouts, and safer too.

The only use for most people seems to be to offset things that give bad lipids. I guess I could see someone that actually races or something could consider it as well.

To the second point though I have no issues with ephedra or ephedrine. I think if not abused, outside of possibly raising BP a little, I’m unaware of issues with moderate use.

The only thing that I liked from cardarine was its positive effects on lipid panel as mentionned above. Perhaps as a natty someone would see an endurance increase from cardarine but being on test and what not I never saw any benefit from it.

With Ephedrine, 18000 reports of side effects: https://linkinghub.elsevier.com/retrieve/pii/S0168851010002010

With Ephedra, some deaths: http://www.mskcc.org/mskcc/html/69213.cfm

I do see your point, that most people go off the deep end (no food, 3x the Ephedrine or Ephedra, exercising too strenuously). But, I will say there are still some temporary and permanent side effects.

i am 63 and been using ephedra containing supplements including bronkaid for at least 25 years...several months ago i ran a 7k in 31 minutes, doc says i'm healthier than many of his patients 20+years younger.

In the first link I’m just seeing an overview meta-analysis type thing talking strictly about regulating due to being an amphetamine precursor and due to abuse of the drug. I don’t know if it is everywhere but in my state you need to show license to buy which I think mitigates over consumption. Granted I know there’s always loopholes people find if they really want to.

Good for you. That is impressive and shows that these supplements are not necessarily poison.

Of course, let's hope that your anecdote could be applicable to all, and be shown in data-driven analysis. Certainly, with all these adverse effects, it shows that the anecdotes of other people differ.

indeed..i mainly used the ephedra supplements and bronkaid for energy-- pre-workout/at work at physical job in a box factory, or just doing mundane tasks like lawncare....i am aware there are many who were/are using ephedra as exercise in a bottle and using to lose weight with the minimum amount of exercise-it is this group of people i see as having most of the issues associated with severe side effects

Agreed. Even those who use it sensibly had problems. My family friend is a psychiatrist, and saw people go schizophrenic on it.

I think many of the deaths, etc. with ephedra etc. were using a higher than normal dose, even using diet and exercise.

unless your friend the psychiatrist did a urine drop there is no way of telling those people went schizophrenic on sensible doses of ephedra--people often lie about drug use.
