I bought "The Skin Type Solution" and filled out the questionaire. It was enlightening, and I've been following her suggestions for my face, and it's the best my face as been.
I was on a antibotic for 4 1/2 weeks, and decided to stop since I wasn't seeing anything from it.
I then started Dr. Ohira's, Essential Formulas Inc., Dr. Ohhira's 12 Plus Probiotic Formula. 10 caps for 6 days, then 2 caps for now each day.
I then switched my topical regimen a little bit.
I currently use:

BP 2.5% if I feel like it
SPF 55
After workouts

supplements:
1.2 g GLA
10 g fish oil
2 g vit c
2 g green tea extract
diet, locked in. lots of vegetables. some fruit. I carb cycle now, and really enjoy it. I only have HIGH and LOW days though. My high days are ~ 20% higher than maintenance, and LOW days are ~20-25% lower than maintenance.
I sometimes use the Carbon Mask from Paula's Choice. Feels good ... it uses charcoal I believe.

btw, I never found b5 to work for me. the retinol products always have helped my oil issues after the initial purging from it.
