say I have a a formula and I want to make it a hydrocloride for faster uptake,is there a write up of how to do so?

the base is 1r2s nor epherdrine,I want to make it hci ect.

you can dissolve the organic compound in methanol containing HCl, then add ethyl acetate to crystallize the hydrochloride salt, then filter, wash with methanol/ ethyl acetate. however, you need the right equipment for this, i.e. stir plates, pharm grade methanol (no benzene), filter funnel, sep funnel, and you also need a rotavap or vacuum oven to remove the methanol and ethyl acetate completely. You also need to pH the product to make sure you don't have excess acid and you should probably run a column, an NMR, and a GCMS.
 
for the cyclized form of norephedrine you could also try refluxing in 1M HCl overnight but you need analysis equipment to determine your final product. I suggest not attempting it - there really is no easy way unless you are, in fact, a chimist.

yea you def sound like your know your stuff,Do you think the base form will get absorbed well without the hci?Maybe a transdermal but Im not sure if it will pass threw the skin.

Crossing my fingers that the stuff even come in,Its pure form 1r2s-norephedrine

if it comes ill order 25grams of it

I honestly know much more about chemistry than I do about physiology. The base form, from what I do know, should still have a relatively high bioavailability. I'll check the stacks for any journal articles on the topic.

You run the risk of getting a knock at your door from the DEA - and having a lab setup will look to them like your intent is to turn it into methamphetamine, rather than (1R,2S) norephedrine hcl.

prolly why the stuff never came,its been a while now and no emails or nothing.It was like 60/gram and I ordered 1 gram.

I did get another source of ppa tho,its just not hitting as hard as the old stuff.its ppa but I dont know witch isomer it is.

I ordered from a bunch of online dog stores and finally one came threw.I got 5bottles of proin that used for animals with urinalry problems.

its 50mg per tab but its def not hitting hard like the other stuff that was out.
