This a question for all the Personal Trainers out there. Are the best certificates NCCA accredited, or are there any good one's that aren't part of NCCA?
I think most gyms around here require you to have a NCCA accredited certificate in order to train clients, so that is the route i went. I don't know if there are any good ones that aren't part of NCCA.

The top certificates to attain are ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) and NSCA-CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist). Now you need a degree in a health related field or you can't apply. I personally would go with NSCA-cpt they are accredited by the ACSM. With that being said I am an ASCM certified trainer I majored in Exercise physiology and have found if the personal training company is accredited by ACSM you are good to go. Hope this helps.
