Anxiety Meds + Steroids?

Hey all,

I know that the first comment everyone will have on this is "consult your doctor on this". Unfortunately, the doctor that is with me for my recently developed caffeine withdrawls anxiety issues is a family member, to whom I would much rather not disclose my intentions of anabolic usage. I don't currently have a physician and therefore not too sure how comfortable I would be on coming up and asking "hey, I'm running a cycle of..." as I know his standard response will be "HELL NO, Steroids are bad!"

So I come to my second home in hopes of getting some help and try to figure this one out.

First off, here are the meds I'm on:

Clonazepam, 2mg a day, in 3 doses.
Paroxetine HCL, 30mg a day, 1 dose.

With that in mind, what is the thought of adverse effects of steroids? I know, this probably sounds like the most stupid idea ever and feel free to bash away, but I figured I would ask.

I wasn't gunning for a heavy run either. My plan was to go with Transaderm at about 2x dose + Katanadrol or AndroHard + Erase Pro at a higher dosage to counter the increased estrogen on Transaderm and Anabeta.

PCT would consist of SERM (still have some Nolva, probably go with that) at 20/10/10/10, Erase at regular dose, DAA, Endosurge.

Life Support would be run throughout both Cycle and Post Cycle, as well as a Multivitamin and about 12g of Fish Oil a day.

Any docs out there that can give some solid input on this?

P.S.: Main goal would be recomp and lower my overall BF%.

Running DC training and following Leangains with about -20 on non workout days, +20 on workout days. up to 30g of carb on nonworkout days, and about 150g of carbs on workout days, all around the actual workout time.

A quick skim of the interwebs says you should avoid the androhard as one of the compounds says to talk to your doctor if you want to consume grapefruit while on, and the andro series uses a similar (if not identical) enzyme to enhance bioavailiability.

Other than that, nothing else stood out as a red flag other than muscle/joint soreness as possible sides.

Thanks for the quick response, will probably look into Kata instead of Androhard then and give this one a quick go in the very near future.

google/pummed/etc. are your friends. look for interactions/sides etc.

you have caffeine withdrawals that lead to anxiety where u need benzos?

Probably the biggest side effect you'll encounter is going to be psychological. I'm assuming you have some anxiety and depression issues. Roids are going to mess with your hormone levels and cause mood swings. Most people can usually cope with this but if your predisposed to anxiety or depression it may be more of a challenge.

benzos are what ur taking(klonopin) which are highly addictive and are a narcotic drug. YOU DONT NEED THAT FOR CAFFEINE WITHDRAWAL, i went through heroin withdrawal without anything u will be fine, that doctor should be fired.
Not quite sure what benzos are?

Well, the caffeine withdrawal wasn't the problem (aside from other stimulants as well, low dose clens, fat burners, etc), the caffeine withdrawal - should probably say more on the "adrenaline withdrawals" triggered Anxiety / Panic Syndrome, even when I put caffeine back into the equation. I was having panic attacks multiple times a day, made it almost impossible for me to be at work, I would have "stroke like" symptoms (tingling over the body, eyes fuzy, world closing up on me, etc) and that's why they prescribed me the clonazepam (that was the only prescription at first).

Following that prescription, since it was a big downer and I wasn't drinking coffee anymore, I felt down as hell, unmotivated, felt just like sleeping all day and not doing anything else, you would have to drag my ass to the gym to workout and I would always cut myself off before the end of my full routine (which in my case would be I would not go to do cardio, at all). Hell, I didn't even feel like going out with friends or driving 30 mins for a booty call. SO, since I've seen in all those TV ads "If you have suicidal thoughts, or your feelings worsen, call your doctor" (no suicidal thoughts, but sh!t wasn't right) and so I did, that's when the anti-depressant came into play and was then prescribed. Since then, I haven't had any anxiety attacks and my mood has been great. Libido also not an issue at all - hell, the anti depressant actually improved my sex life. I can hold on for fking hours now, not even joking, new best, went literally 1:15 minutes -not drunk- without busting the nut. So it has been all good.

I have also been briefed in the drugs - the addictive side of it - and they have told me to never, ever, just quit cold turkey on these. The treatment is supposedly 6 months, plus 3 months of taper down in order for me to not feel the withdrawals from them.

So, granted, just wanted to make sure I'm not tossing anything in that would cause problems with that as I'm more than happy to not have the Anxiety attacks, and hence looking at just mild hormones and trying to figure out if they would be ok.

just be safe man those drugs are easy to get into and razor blades to get out of.

i agree with this 100%. you might not have issues with this cycle because the compounds arent as harsh as other compounds. i'm prescribed adderall and i did a superdrol cycle while on it one time and my thoughts and mood were all over the place. i had bad mood swings, girlfriend almost broke up with me because i was always crabby. i would be happy one minute and literally 2 seconds later i need to be left alone because im so 'on the edge'. and i know the psychological side effect adderall does to you, they were just amplified to the fullest level. i later did another superdrol cycle but this time didnt take the addy at all. i was easy going, really chill, calm, and always in a good mood.

i would really suggest to make a choice of either juice (whether if be straight AAS or ph) or your meds.

Would it even if I dropped the Kata be as bad you think on the mood swings? Just the Transaderm to give an extra boost and then lower PCT?

i dont really want to give a definitive answer just because katanadrol is orastan a, which is really an 'add on' when it comes to ph cycles. a lot of people will take katanadrol to help keep that rock hard dry look to their muscles on bulking compounds and to also help fight lethargy when doing harsh compounds as well. anything to put into your body is going to have more then just one effect on it. your mixing strong anxiety meds with mild (level of harshness on the body) hormonal products, so its really hard to give a good answer.

what i would do if i was taking all this stuff is maybe try it out and if you start to feel that neg psychological effects are being amplified or persistent, then cut the cycle short and start your pct right away. this is what i would do but as much as i am a research freak and critique everything i take, i am also a little reckless.
