Hey haven’t been on here in a decade.
Forgot my old account info =(.
I’m 6’9 225 pounds, 31 male.

Im currently on test E 1 sub q injection per week.
I started a cycle Tuesday of anavar.
20 milligrams per day split up morning and night.

I planned on running this exact dosage for 7 weeks.
It’s my first time running anavar, and first time taking orals in a decade.

wanted to play it safe.
Am I wasting my time or should I get more and up dosage?

Why split the doses? I'd try the 20mg pre workout. I would personally start at 40 but 20 may actually give you a boost. Always start small and increase as needed. You definitely did the right thing there

From research I did, I was trying to maximize the half life. I only have 43 pills left. I’ve been splitting them in half.

I’m pretty much asking if I would be better off doing the 7 weeks of 20 a day or doing a shorter cycle length with like 40 a day

Like @Mikereyn513 said, start low and build your way up as needed. It's so hard to tell people how much to take because someone might respond to 25mgs like another person responds to 50mgs. That's why it's always good to start low. If you're responding well to 20mgs then there is nothing wrong with running it for 7 weeks. If you're not, you'll likely want to up the dose to get something out of it.

Ahh now i got it. Yea I would stick with 7 weeks at 20 especially if you feel that it's helping. If you jumped to 40 that would only be like 3 1/2 weeks. I don't think that woukd be worth it

tomorrow will be my third day so hard to tell if im feeling it, hopefully next week is more promising
 
It's Always a crap shoot with New Compounds..I only ran my Var/Tbol combo for about 1.5 wks before some medical issues knocked me down...Again..
So..I can't really give any Var experience input..
But what I will say is..everyone responds differently..It takes trying it to Really find out if it Fits..
I do however tolerate Sdrol and M1T very well, when others don't..
Just have to try and see..what works Best..

I wouldn't use Var, or really any oral, for anything other than pre-workout. They all have incredibly short windows of maximal activity.

With Var in ethanol I dose 30 min before starting my workout. Tablet form maybe 45-60 min. Just experiment til you nail it.
 
What’s your cycle goal? At 6’9” & only 225lbs….you have to put a LOT more time in at the table if you’re going to try to add some size.

If you haven’t cycled in 7 years you should see a nice little response if the food & training are there. That’s a long time off, and adding 140 Var/wk is basically doubling your weekly intake of androgens likely.

Respectfully, Var has totally sufficient duration to drive growth. Take any female, or man with low experience, give them Var twice a day, and watch them change over the next couple months. My wife morphs on once/day administrations.

The problem is that roughly 60-65% of the drug is gone from the blood between 1.5 to 4 hours after administration. The peak being around 1-1.5 hours after ingestion. After the first 4 hours, half of the drug is removed from the body per 10ish hours, but blood serum concentrations are already greatly diminished during this time. Your best bet is to get your training and nutrient uptake in within this first four hours to make good use of the drug.

I'm not saying you won't grow doing split doses. I've done it myself with great effect! What I'm saying is you can be smart about your administration and gain maximum effect by using the entire dose pre-workout.

Agreed. Put it around training and put the bolus of your carbs peri as well for best bang.
