I had to be carried out of a Chinese buffet place once. I have a bad MSG allergy and I could barely walk. Picture all the negative sides to heavy drinking without any of the positives then my nose started bleeding. I had to pass out at home for a few hours. This new place doesn't use MSG.

I got food poisioning twice at Chinese buffet in a 3 year period, so I will never go to another one. It does make you feel like you would have to get better in order to die.

For sure, when I went I was testing yellow gold at the time so it was only a few months ago. I was trying to eat as much as possible and I paid dearly for it. The problem with the chinese buffets is they don't have the temp right to keep the food safe while out. FDA has laws about it and some don't follow it which causes the food to go bad while it sits out, especially the seafood.

Besides the MSG problem Ive never gotten food poisoning at a buffet. However I did get it as kid (like 7 years old or so) at a McDonald's after eating a sausage muffin thing. Everyone who ate that got sick. Then a few years ago I ordered hot roast beef meal at a family restaurant and I was sick for a week straight. I had to see a Dr. it was that bad.
