I remember a guy I went to school with years ago always made it a point to be extra friendly to the crazy guy in our class.

One day after he randomly gave the crazy dude a Snickers, on the way home I finally asked him why he went out of his way to be so nice to that weirdo. He chuckled and said, “Because if one day he comes in and shoots up the campus, you’re gonna die, but he’s gonna look at me and remember that candy bar - then he’s only gonna shoot me in the knee caps.” 🤣🤣🤣

we had a dude like that who coincidentally shared a name with a famous horror novel writer... got picked on a ton. finally three dudes pushed him over the edge on a weekend outside of school hours and he gave all three of them a beat down by himself 😅

lol i honestly think about that too .. not that being a bully or make fun of pple .. but sometimes look at pple and just assume they are those weirdo's who you don't wanna mess with and always stay on a good side
 
That's something I never did back in school or even now was make fun of or pick on people, just never made sense to me. That's one thing I like about our group of friends om high school. We were thr popular ones, the football players, stereotypical high school movie type scene but we never bullied or made fun of anyone. And no matter how geeky they were if they showed up to a party with alcohol they were in lol

yesterday I'm sitting on the bench in front of the db rack doing an E2MOTM super set with dbs and ez bar and the dude next to me is on the incline with his phone aimed at me in the mirror. he's laying on the incline, like a lazy boy chair and at first I thought he was recording me then I realized no, he's watching something on his phone. the gym was packed and he's just lounging on the bench lol

Dude I saw the sand thing for thr first time the other day. Dude is on the lying hamstring curl and hasn't done a set in like 5 minutes I peak over and he's watch a movie on his phone!! I couldn't f.cking believe it. I literally had to walk away and change up my routine because I couldn't trust myself not to do something stupid

It’s everywhere man, just how it is now with our tech-obsessed world. People trying to watch movies while they drive, it’s crazy man.

I see some really funny stuff at the commercial gym here in a college town. The other day I got on a platform to squat, and the one next to me had TWO barbells loaded, one on the safety pins and one on the floor for deadlifts or such. Halfway through my squats I needed more plates so I just started unloading them as it suited my needs. Nobody ever came back; they had just left two loaded bars there 🤯

Like man, you pay good money to come to this air-conditioned place to do fake manual labor to get bigger/stronger, and you can’t put the weights back for the next person??

sometimes I wish I was just a bit shorter to compete with guys my weight class better on deadlifts, then I see some 6'4" 185lb dude squatting heavy.
