An "All in One Herbal Formula"

Does such a supplement exist?...if so can someone direct me where to get it?....wouldn't it be good though?...particulary for those who are older and either want to avoid common issues that arise as they age or maybe help diminish the ailments they already have.....I'd just like to toss my parents a bottle of this "all natural" supplement along with it's info, have them approve it with their doctor, then to give it a try and hopefully return with positive results over time. I've searched around the web but have yet to come across a formula that covers most problematic areas of people. So I've jotted down some common herbal extracts and oils that have proven themselves in the real world and particularly in university studies on humans.

Immune System Support - Ginseng
Joint Support - Cissus
Anti-Aging/Heart/Hormone Balance - Resveratrol
Liver Support - Milk Thistle
Kidney Support - CoQ10
Weight Control - CLA
Stress - Rhodiola Rosea
Cognitive performance - Ginkgo biloba and Phosphatidylserine
Heart and Brain - Fish Oil and Omega 3,6,9
Weight Control - CLA

Just an idea.

First to get an effective dose of all of those it would take a lot of pills; you will never get that into one. Second, there are a few multi-vitamins out there you might look at to get what you want there less the cissus and rhodiola/resveratrol: Animal Pak, NOW Adam. As for the other items just get some bulk CLA, find a Cissus you like, and add in a high purity Resveratrol. A lot of what you listed can be put together for a reasonable amount per month though the Cissus will bring the cost up significantly. Asssume the stack you are looking for to cost you $60-$75 per month unless you go real cheap on the Cissus and multi-v.

Blue gene comes close. Anabolic edge does too. Bg doesn't necessarily have all those ingredients, but it has many of their actions. Anabolic edge has a whopping dose of resveratrol, rhodiola, etc.

The ayurvedic Chayawanprash is something to seriously look into as well, interesting stuff, and cheap.

Custom Capsules stuff comes closer. Go there, get the doses you want, they'll cap 'em for you, and get whatever is missing/more economical in bulk and you're done.

Nice idea, thanks!! I tried it quickly just now and sure enough, you guys are right, too many capsules/serving. So instead I might try and break it down into an "Organ Formula" and a "Well Being Formula".

Now to dig up effective dosages on each ingredient.

How old are your parents? Are they at an age where processing certain chemicals is difficult for them, age relatively speaking.

Not at all. Except for CLA I take the rest daily at present. I know guys on the board with stacks twice as big easily.

For a single stack I've moved to cycle support 2 (CS by AI) - milk thistle, idbenone (Q10) plus lots of goodies and great anti-oxidants. They do a deal post cycle and 2xCS2 for $100 at Nutra. post cycle covers resveratrol. At present I'm a big fan of AI!. $200 for the year resveratrol (possibly) and anti-oxidants, liver/heart support covered!

For the rest ... Dr Wilson's Adrenal dynamite covers many of these and many more besides. I don't use it now. DTHC covers lots of stuff. ZMA is worth looking into, well worth looking into and will cover a lot of stuff. Animal Pak (never used) looks descent and it has equivalents to Cissus. I'm increasingly moving towards bulk powder.

Ginseng is about the quality otherwise forget it. Very expensive the good stuff use with care.

Once again, before you start recommending to your parents any of these "all in one formulas", have them get checked out completely. Especially this, if they are in their 60+ yrs.

Okay. This is anti-aging stuff rather than general stacks.

Imminist I guess is the place for the post.

Resveratrol is the classic.

Methylene blue is the new fangled anti-aging craze. I wouldn't recommend anyone on the board try it. Some of these guys are either gonna just keep living or else succumb to the shear amount of experimentation they put themselves through.

Are you kidding about the methylene blue? That is what we used to use in HS Chemistry, you couldn't pay me to ingest that stuff!
