American football weight training

Been doing bodybuilding training for last 7 months on a 5 day split, I haveto cut it down to 4 days now due to football, should I switch from bodybuilding to strength?? Any suggestions would be appreciated & if you have any 4 day splits would be good too
 
The 3rd variation of WS4SB is a 4 day split. The template below also has a variation for football / combine testing as well as lots of good advice for in-season training.
