Am I sensitive to carbs?

Hey guys I'm new to AM I but I'm currently in a bulking phase and I notice that I hold a lot of water and gain weight easily and it's definetly the carbs because when I drop them a bit I can tell. The thing that confuses me is that it's not a lot of carbs at all compared to other guys my size and age. Am I just naturally carb sensitive or is it more my metabolism.
 
I would say alittle bit of both. How many carbs do you usually eat a day? And maybe try just focusing carbs only around your workouts and see how that goes or something.
 
While it's not necessarily rare to be insulin resistant (if even to an extent) with my experience it's much more likely that your in a surplus at a body fat level that's not conducive to lean muscular gains. I.e. (This isn't true for everyone) if your "bulking" at 15% BF your only going to end up higher in BF at the end of the bulk! (Again very dependent) 18-20% body fat does not look pretty lol
