Weight 204lbs

My BMR 1840

My TDEE

My goal is to loose weight and get lean

I’m training 4x a week moderately intense

My cardio isn’t really up to scratch but slowing getting there as it’s only been 3 weeks I’ve gone back to the gym.

Any idea what your body fat percentage is?

Agreed with SFreed - that does seem a bit on the low side for someone that's 200lbs. How long have you been consistent with this diet? And have you been tracking at all before beginning this? My guess would be that your intake would be a little higher to start.

You don't want to begin your diet with the bare minimum calorie approach, because you'll have a lot less to work with when you need to lower calories again.

^^^ this.....

Bmr seems low. I’m a 200lb male and I cut weight at 2,800 at its lowest point (granted I do train intensely 5 days a week). If your maintenance genuinely is where you’ve indicated I’d personally reverse diet up to 2,500 or 3,000 before starting to cut.....

That’s the info I got from Iifym.
My work is just sitting and also I’m always doing nothing I’m a lazy person. So I guess the calculation must of took that into consideration

I’ve been consistent for 3 weeks now exactly
And no this is the first time I’ve been tracking.

I’ve been training hard for the past 3 weeks too
Haven’t notice any difference in my body just went up in strength from 20kg to 60kg on squats

Only you can tell if you are on the right track - do exactly that ^ for a month and weigh/tape-measure/caliper, as well as keeping track of training weights and reps. If your abdominal measurements shrink, but you at least maintain your current lifts, I'd call it good. There are more than a few smart mofos out there that say if you are cutting - CUT HARD. Fat is a huge energy store and a 4/8/12 week serious cut isn't going to catabolize much if any lean tissue if you keep protein high (Helms/Aragon say up to 2.4g/kg for BB'ers in prep). The biggest problem will be diet adherence the lower you go - if you cheat a lot, add a couple hundred kcals from rice/beans/bulky veg - or more protein (chicken breast, etc...) if protein satiates you better. You may want to take a 3 day diet break back up to maintenance every 7-11 days (I like 11 if you can hold out - makes it a neat 14 day cycle) to *try* to boost Leptin back up a little.

Lots of theories - I'd subscribe to the 'Revive Stronger' Podcast and download every "Fat Loss" episode and listen. He interviews almost every known quantity guy out there like Helms, Israetel, McDonald, Chavez, etc...
