Always find a way back to AM

I used to frequent the forums many years ago and then life happened. Things changed, relationships came and went. The gym became a thought lost behind the daily grind. I somehow managed a 100 mi. bike ride from DC to Delaware for charity. Not sure how, it was short of a miracle. But otherwise, my life has been too sedentary. I'm the king of my couch.

I've had a few back issues, and some minor joint pain, all at my current age of 26. I'm graying show my higher than average BMI. Things have to change now before I slide too far downhill. I'm in the chain fast-food business and I rely on my restaurants to cover some of my meals, void of the nutrition required to be sufficiently active.

Not anymore. I want to start off my 27th year of life with a healthier outlook and get back to the good days. I've found my way back to AM not only for advice, but to share my journey and take inspiration form the board that got me started in the first place. I'm sure a lot has changed and new training methods to read up on.

Hope to learn something new, share something old, and find my way back to a healthy anabolic mind.

Cheers,

Bosco

Welcome.

Thank you Aaron!

I'm in the chain fast-food business and I rely on my restaurants to cover some of my meals, void of the nutrition required to be sufficiently active.

I'm a chef, so I know how difficult it can be to eat healthily when you're producing delicious food; and I'm limited to what I can eat in the interests of "quality control" haha ;) If I was the manager, I'm pretty sure I'd be the size of a house (and not in a god way!)

The timing of my meals is way off. I'm also going to have to work on motivating myself to cook. After being around food all day its the last thing I want to see- I'm sure you've experienced this too Ralph. I'm researching the Paleo Diet as a begging step towards getting myself cooking and eating a bit healthier. Right now main goal is weight loss and back to a healthy foundation.
