Allergies screw up any else's workouts?

I always know when I wake up with that burning feeling in my sinuses, feeling kinda achy all over... I am in for a lousy workout. I try to force myself to keep going, but usually too "shaky" to get any good pumps. Its frustrating.

Anyone else have similar problems? Have you found any supplements (or medications) that help without making you drowsy?

I had bad allergies for awhile and now i've been on allergy immuno-therapy. Basically starts out as a shot each week for about a year, then a shot every other week, and eventually the goal is to have zero shots. I would highly recommend it. I also use Nasacort AQ at night before bed.

I used to get them and they worked great.. I stopped getting them in high school and havent had real problems until recently. They are starting them back up for me in the spring if allergies bother me again... but I already have my appt. with the Dr. about it to get it setup if need be.

Drixerol w pseudephedrine or plain old loratadine.

do these allergy shots work for hives, because ive had them now for some time.. been using otc products to control it like zyrtec, benadryl and claritin..

I got allergy tests. never got the shots. I use nasanix before bed at night.

Right now I have someting serious Bronchitis, havnt worked out all last week and I was going to the gym today and felt real bad so Im taking this week off. This sucks ass!! Might even have to take the next week off. Hopefully not though

i was on the shots starting at age six for years and now am off. about two years ago i had my bloodwork tested and only spiked on one mold - so i would say - yes they were very effective.

If you have insurance and they will cover the shots, then I would highly recommend it. They literally saved my life. I constantly would get sinus infections and headaches due to allergies. They don't work instantly, but after about 6 months you will start to feel permanent relief

I think Ill look into it than

Find an allergy specialist in your area and go to them. They typically will give you about 50-60 small shots to figure out what your allergic to and then base your therapy on those findings. Turned out i was slightly allergic to everything.

actually - most now use the bloodtest do they draw it - ship to lab - and go over the report with you. they can test for alot more allergens this way as well. unless of course, you like shots. . . he he

Bro try this:

Chrolotrimeton (spelling lol) available at all pharmacy stores and walmart etc.

And do this:

(you dont have to buy from these guys - although the pot they have there is the one i use)

I do it every morning, and works great for me. I get no colds, no flu, no more shaky workouts (I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU MEAN) and it feels great. It washes out the allergens in your sinuses (e.g dust, pollen etc).

Once you work out how to do it, and you get over the whole (water in nose feeling), its really very very easy.

(p.s use 1/2 teaspoon of salt per pot).

Higher thyroid levels (lower TSH actually) should help allergies and other immunity issues... An article mentioned T4 but maybe forskolin helps as well, it is independent of TSH.

(my free T4 is borderline normal or below :()
