Allergic Reaction???

Hello ladies and gents!

Okay, I haven't posted in a forum for a long time as I can usually find what I need by reading the discussions of others. But at this point I'm seriously stumped, so I would very much appreciate any insight anyone here may be able to provide.

About a week ago I noticed a very solid lump at the top of the back of my neck. Within 24 hours I had developed a rash on my left leg and my head and face developed serious swelling and hives. I looked like the elephant man and felt horrible. After another 24 hours I went to an urgent care center. I was given prednisone and told I was lucky the swelling didn't make it a couple more inches down my neck as it could have been fatal. The doc concluded it was an allergic reaction to one of the supps I had recently begun taking. The problem is that I was stacking 3 so I don't know which is to blame. From my research I can't find any such adverse reactions to any of them. The supps were: DAA/Erase/Androbolix300. I have found a bit of info on tribulus allergies with similar symptoms but I had been taking the trib supp (androbolix) for at least two weeks. I began taking the DAA/Erase a week into the androbolix, and with higher than recommended dosages (DAA-5g a day/Erase-100mg a day- 50mg am and 50mg pm).

So, has anyone had or known someone who has had similar reactions to these or similars supps? I'm certainly not allergic to L Aspartic acid, so is it safe to say it's not the DAA?

Tell us that you have discontinued use of these products? I would say go to an someone who specializes in allergies and bring the supps with you and they will investigate for you. I have never heard of anything like this, but I would be extremely careful with what I take if I were you, cause you could be ultra sensitive to certain supps and it may not be limited to what you were taking at the time. Best of luck bro

Yes, I stopped immediately after the symptoms began. I've taken many supps over the years but have never had any issues. Unfortunately I'm not financially able to do any allergy tests, and I'm not sure that they could pinpoint it that way anyhow. I realize allergies can be really specific, but I've never had issues with ATD, DHEA, LAA, aspartame or any other products that are similar to or related to these products.

Might not need allergy tests, but the Dr. may be able to pin point something just based off what you tell him about what happened and what he can find out about the ingredients. But yeah, I understand that its expensive to go to the Dr just because. Hope you get some answers, thats some scary ****
