Hey guys, random question. I am going on vacation next week, and was wondering about alcohol consumption with my stack. I know none of the compounds I am taking are methylated. However, I wanna be as smart as I can about this. Here's a basic overview of what I take a day.

1-andro: 270 mg
4-andro: 330 mg
3AD: 75 mg
Epiandro: 600 mg
11-OXO: 300 mg
Arimistane: 50 mg
Androsterone: 150 mg

Thoughts on a drink here and there? Thanks!
 
what I’m about to say is super dumb and I’m not saying anyone should do the same but ppl my age and older used strong PH back in the days and we had no idea what it was.. hell superdrol was sold as preworkout back in the days lol... so yeah I probably did 5-6 cycles of superdrol,msten,dmz,M1A etc while drinking every single day of the cycle and never had a problem. I’m not saying anyone should do this it’s very stupid and I was misinformed at that time. But the liver damage thing is hella exaggerated and if you drink 2-3 days on non methyl it won’t be a problem.
 
Yeah, I'll be running every morning for cardio as I am staying in the Florida area so hopefully I can keep the water retention off. Also, I'll be walking around most of the day at Disney too so it should be good. I appreciate the info, just wanted to be sure! @Mathb33 @jrock645
 
Should have planned your cycle schedule better, but these things do happen.
Supposedly, a drink here or there no problem but binge drinking will negatively impact your results which is wasting your $$ for the supp's.
Could add in any kind of on cycle liver protection supp just to be cautious.

Yup.
2005. 20-30mg a day followed by 2 Chipotle burritos and a six pack.
Never even had lethargy or jaundice of any kind and I put on 25lbs. But **** seemed so much easier in my 20s. I can’t even get through 10mg SD without horrendous lethargy and appetite loss by week 3 at 40.
I drank every weekend on a 50mg/day Epi cycle a few years after that. Shots, wine, beers.
Liver enzymes barely went outta range on that one.
But this is Ill advised and could land someone in a much different and worse situation than ours was.
 
But you are taking serious weaksauce and it won’t affect much at all. Just eat right and drink lots of water. If I’m not training and just chilling, I’d drop my dose down too for the time being, such as a vacation where I can’t eat or train adequately.

Yeah, it was planned with my girlfriend's family and with a new job I wasn't sure I'd get the time off. I have Ar1micare Pro with some additional Tudca and NAC. Yes, I know these don't do much DURING the cycle however they are there for supportive purposes and I could always grab some Milk Thistle as well. I wouldn't have more than 3-4 drinks over a week span as my gf knows I am running "supplements which could have negative effects mixed with alcohol" (what I told her to avoid getting lectured).

Will do! It'll allow me to either extend my cycle out a week or up my doses for the remaining time frame. It's gonna be HOT in Florida, so water won't be a problem. Thanks again guys!

My advice....dont drink on cycle. I know its tough when its summer but its only counterproductive.
 
What youre basically doing is increasing potential sideffects. Now if you're an healthy man i wouldn't be worried about drinking one time, especially with a stack like that but its never smart to drink on cycle obviously.

Eliminate alcohol completely! Working out(fitness) and alcohol do not belong together. I haven't had a drop in 4 years and yes I get crazy cravings.

Get some phenibut or kratom instead. Phenibut will have you feeling like you had a couple drinks... Works on the same receptors
 
I know alcohol is ill-advised on cycle, as well as fitness as a whole. It was just my vacation, and wasn't sure how things would play out if I had a drink while there. We will see if I even do end up drinking, just a preemptive question was all

Dude really look into phenibut. You will not be disappointed I guarantee it. Its the only thing that has kept me sober from alcohol. Really. It has all the same effects as alcohol

I might be interested in this. Is this run daily or just as and when. Like many i like the occasional drink even though i know its poison and counterproductive to fitness.

Well the disclaimers say it shouldn't be taken more than 2 days a week..

And they also say to dose 500mg at a time with no more than 4g a week.

You should definitely not take it every day. It works so good you will want to take it every day. I did that and ended up having a couple mini seizures. But it does work on the same receptors as alcohol. You feel sociable, your anxiety disappears, your mood will increase, no Stress, and your cognition will increase. It's a good nootropic as well.

The first time you take it, it will take an hour or so to kick in. I highly recommend taking it on an empty stomach. With food, it won't work. But yea it helps me stay off the booze. It has documented research as to helping with PTSD, anxiety, and depression.
 
I forgot to add, 500mg is a tiny dose, you might want to take more than that. Probably a couple grams a couple days a week. Your welcome lol

Thanks alot for this. How I havent looked into this before i dont know. This could really make a good addition to my supplements as the benefits seem great at safe doses. Does the body become tolerant to it with prolonged use or because your only on it a couple of days a week the receptors stay good??

This is one thing I've noticed and love about it. If you keep it low and only a couple days a week, tolerance will not increase. I've been taking it for years

Thats pretty much what id be looking at doing as well. Does GABA have the same effect as well??

Not even close. Gabapentin works for anxiety/calming. But GABA you buy in the store? Never tried it although it probably would work if have never taken supps or meds that act on your GABA receptors
 
Mentioned this many times. I once got a gift of one dose phenibut + something with zink etc. I took them before bed and woke up kinda drained as if you've slept too long. I was feeling really happy and almost giggly, a little high. I googled and the only ingredient i could imagine did anything was phenibut.

Years later i decided to buy it and ive been up at high dosages. Dont feel **** and the store/product is legit. Either im immune or there was something else in the pills before. People talk about dosages from 500-1000. I've done 3.5 one time and still nothing. I dont get it, maybe its different to take right before bed?

Ya and overdose is highly unlikely too. I don’t believe it’s CNS depresses enough to be too terribly dangerous. I can say I’ve put down many many grams on a night of desperation from no sleep and was not in any trouble of od’ing.
The real danger is in daily use and ultimately rapid tolerance to it.

The only reason I say this is to echo BD, you don’t want a half gelcap of this, more like a teaspoon so you can get some actual alcohol-like effects.

I was feeling amazing, im telling you its just like youre having the day of your life but i just dont know why it doesn't work anymore. Maybe i need to take it before bed and wake up to get some kind of hangover rush cause that's what happened the first time and i believe the dosage was under 1gr. If i take 3gr during the day i feel nothing so could be something there.

You just described every drug out there.
That first high is incomparable. You may ya e a decent one here and there or develop a method for it to be stronger or more intense(grapefruit juice, plugging, shooting, snorting) but no matter what it’s never as great as the first one.
This applies to all, not just junkies.

Your brain just very quickly understood you gave it something that created a response and the very next time, your brain tries to limit that response so it’s not as intense.
This goes the same for bodybuilding.
First 225 or 315 will build muscle and strength but not after the first time. After that only 235 or 335 will do the same thing.. (ex: increasing doses)

So many variables. It could just be your current brain chemistry and it’s response to these things right now, and the brand or batch.
Increasing dose seems to be the only way to see if there are still effects worth using it for.
 
The first few times phenibut is dope, especially with alcohol. I take it every few month now at about 3gr + 1.5gr recharge -and it never had the same effect like it did years ago at 1.5gr. I never used it more than once per week in the past.

Not too hard cycle but still:
If you have to drink the up your liver and hearth protecting supps.
 
Well guys it sounds like im just not responding well "now" @hairygrandpa i took 3.5 gr with alcohol last year and nothing happened. I assume its possible i got more social but that could be just me getting too much of a personality on alcohol. I overtalk sometimes when drunk.

I tried 2.5gr two days ago and i felt i got tired laying down and i definitely felt something but it also felt as if i could stay awake if i wanted to. Kinda like tramadol where you can fall asleep or stay awake if you decide to.


Well im done with this, ive tried it for fun a few times and its cool when it works. I dont do drugs besides weed sometimes and alcohol on occasion and maybe that's for the best 😁
 
You guys are right about the first time taking Phenibut. I felt AMAZING. But for me, it kept working, not as good as the first time of course, but it still works. Tolerance does not grow rapidly with this stuff for me. But I still recommend it to OP as a substitute for alcohol. Phenibut works on the same receptors as alcohol.

I researched the hell out of I before I took it. What got me interested was the studies done with it on PTSD and depression. Alcohol does not help PTSD and depression, but phenibut has been a lifesaver for me. If you've never taken it, you want to have a completely empty stomach. Take your dose (4-5 grams giver or take) and wait for an hour or two. If you do not feel the effects immediately, just be patient and wait up to two hours. I wouldn't redose it if it doesn't work(I did though lol) rather just on your next day take a higher dose and wait. It should last awhile. It shouldn't give you a hangover. You should feel more social, relaxed, happier, more energetic, just pleasant all around. THATS why it can be addicting.

I have taken ridiculously high amounts of it, because like everything I see it as an experiment and push it.

But those are the key things. Empty stomach, high enough dose, don't take it more than a couple days a week spread out. It has kept me off alcohol for 4 years.If you guys have more questions about it DM me. I have been using it for years..

3.5 and nothing? Was it powder or crystals? Did you have an empty stomach? Did you take anything else with it? If you want it to work during the day, take it in the morning. If you want it for sleep, take it an hour or two before bed. Empty stomach though. You may need a higher dose. Maybe 5 or 6g.

Done it all man. I just think im a guy that just adapts easily to bad things and i need more and more. 5-6gr? Is that safe?

I got weed a while ago and i can smoke 0.3 grams by myself and I'm not even a smoker. First time i smoked yeara ago i got fucked up with 3 hits from a joint.

0.3g of weed is not even a complete joint by yourself Thought. People usually roll .5 or .6 joints

Do you actually get constant effects from phenibut? Some times I take a ton of it and nothing, other times I barely take any and it hits me so hard I start vomiting, or it's feels normal.

I've found food and time between dosing to not make any difference on how it feels or what it may do. It's just a crap shoot.

This is all using the same tub of phenibut.

I've also noticed sometimes it hits me in 30 other times I don't notice it until a whole day later

Not with indica and hash. With grass which is mostly much weaker sure. Im not saying its something a weedhead cant smoke but i barely smoke, maybe 5 times a year. People say when you have breaks it kinda makes you less tolerant and that might be true but same thing happened with editable. I got so immensely fucked up and the next time i took 1gr and i was completely fine. It's like my body gets used to it and i need to up the dosage so much with everything that it doesnt feel healthy. Weed is nice as one hit will always make you feel it and im okay with just feeling it, i dont need to get fucked up. When we talk phenibut it worries me a little to take such high amounts.
 
It’s quite possible your body is able to adapt to weed quickly. I know 0.3 is enough to get someone high that’s what I smoke to get rid of enxiety but it’s still a very little joint. Indica is just a brand like sativa. They are both weed. Weed in Canada here is 22 to 29% thc which is pretty fucking strong for grass as you name it and nobody is gonna roll a joint that only has 0.3g in it they’re gonna put that amount in a pipe. A joint is 0.5 or more usually.. Of course if you’re adding hash into it that’s another story though lol

What i mean is that hash is normally much more potent and 0.3gr is pretty much for someone who doesn't smoke. There are many smokers who roll 0.3 but also many who can smoke more. Indica is much harder to stay awake with and the high is harder to deal with. Im not claiming to be tolerant compared to you or anyone that smokes regulary but i do feel i can smoke more than most beginners ive been around.

Haha ah got you. Yeah it's not something i do as its a bit too much ill admit. If I'm around people i dont know i dont like to go more than 0.1 or less, too paranoid man😁

5-6g should be ok... Ok here goes. I'm gonna be honest with you guys. Yes, I have used too much. Ready? I've used up to 40-60gs in a day. Yes I'm sure. I do not recommend that! Yes, that is VERY irresponsible. No I don't still take that much. So no I don't think 5-6 is that much

Yes I get constant affects from phenibut. If I eat with it, it greatly lessens it. If I do not eat, the feeling actually becomes more. So I take some and don't eat for awhile after. Actually helps keep the extra weight off lol. Same dose all the time. So from reading these posts it seems like it affects guys differently, so blaze your own trail. But I try to offer a good starting point/advice
 
Oh crap you guys how could I forget this!

If it's not working, try taking it on an empty stomach with COFFEE. It works synergistically with coffee because phenibut needs an acidic environment to really shine. That's why you should avoid food around the time (before and after) you take it because if your stomach is empty, it will be more acidic. Add the coffee in, and the acid works with the phenibut, and the caffeine works great with the pheni too. Like being super focused and in the zone while being calm too. Good freakin times.

No your body wont be too acidic. If you are worried about that, just take some apple cider vinegar after and on your days off to increase your bodies alkaline
