AI's post cycle. Terrible idea?

Scroll through all of the bullshit to the last couple of posts. The last post in particular is pretty interesting, and seems to make a good case for not using AI's post cycle. Would they be better on cycle or not at all?

What experienced, non-biased (someone not in the biz) user ever claimed it was a good idea to use an AI for PCT?
