Anyone here have an air fryer? Is it worth getting?

I know fried foods is a big no-no when it comes to eating healthy and dieting but is it possible to have healthy fried foods?

Thanks!

So i bought a sous vide machine. Dude I freaking love this thing. Low temperature water bath that dosent destroy nutrients. Omg I love this thing so much!! Check it out! Perfectly moist chicken and nice tender steak. The best 200 I have ever spent. I use it to meal prep large quantities of meat for the week.

That’s funny. My mom and I was just talking about it. I would like more info as well.

I wish I could post the info or a link but I don't have the ability to yet... I bought the anova percision cooker, mine is the 900 watt, but the 800 watt will do, you can pick one up on Amazon around $130-200

I’ve seen those too. The OIL-FREE fried food cooker thingy? Does it work?

Just bought an air fryer. Tried it last night to make sweet potato fries and it was a major fail. They were dry and tasteless. Oil IS taste.

Thx for the heads up

I have one, makes great crsipy fries and chops with pretty much little to no oil. For 2 years I was skillet/wok cooking/baking, but with my little one I need foods that are tasty/savory/faster without all the oil, fat, grease... A good one runs $70 or so. Best choice products on Amazon makes a good one. Makes good roast chicken too.

We just got a best choice air fryer and it worked really well so far.

I use mine almost every day
Tater tots for days lol
But also made chicken and other things in it , just hit the food with a oil spray quickly

i think the air fryer could be the answer to my life's problems....

You will want a good set of knives or veggie slicer to make sweet potato fries :). And it makes pretty bomb chicken too.
