Thanks man! I love the encouragement! I think logging like this really helps me stay accountable. You guys have been a great group to do this with!Subbed. Nice job with lifting and diet. Congrats on your choosing a healthy lifestyle.
It definitely helps boost the confidence some.props for the encouragement, good man!!!
Thanks man. I put a lot of time and effort into learning how to make dieting a colorful experience so I don't get bored. Doing the same thing over and over kind of hurt me in the past.Fantastic diet. Sounds so good.
Plenty more where that came from. I don't want to rely on protein powders like I've done in the past, but sometimes I just don't even feel hungry enough to eat that much real food. If I do try out whey again it will be a very clean, no sugar added, no flavors added isolate for the reasons I outlined earlier. It's also good to have in a pinch if I happen to get too busy to sit down for a meal.Good update, man! jdg76 has a good suggestion there. I actually haven't used a protein powder regularly in over a year.
That looks just like my original setup about 15 years ago. It takes time and finding the deals to create the perfect gym. Nice start and remember that it's a journey and not a destination. LolNoticing a few short bouts of euphoria today. I decided to copy Kenpo and post a picture of my much less impressive garage setup.

Agree. For example, off Craigslist a few weeks ago I scored 490 lbs of milled York plates, bar and spin collars for $200. They were from the 50's. Rusted but in great shape.lots of yard sales, flea markets and even a few auctions!!! i would never buy new plates, who cares what they look like...iron is forever!!!!
No doubt. I've always been a function over fashion guy.lots of yard sales, flea markets and even a few auctions!!! i would never buy new plates, who cares what they look like...iron is forever!!!!
Craigslist is how I got all of my weights, my rack/bar/incline-decline bench, and dumbbells. The rest was from Amazon sales.Agree. For example, off Craigslist a few weeks ago I scored 490 lbs of milled York plates, bar and spin collars for $200. They were from the 50's. Rusted but in great shape.

rust never sleeps
Excellent album!
Lol, thanks to my hippie parents!
How only 5 carbs??
Thanks man. I thought low carbs would be a huge problem, but after a few days it really didn't bother me. If I had your lifestyle it would be no bueno. I think having so much weight to lose makes keto the right approach for me right now.Lol holy s**t! Only 5 carbs. Woah
Nice workout Agent BC
Thanks man. It was so damned cold in the garage I wanted to really make my warm up intense enough to get my knees ready for the hard sets. I'm going to have to put another space heater in there with me for sure.Crazy workout dude! I might have to try that. Squats & lunges. I normally do all of one, then on to the other.
Love the encouragement! Thanks man!Keep it up homie, you're doing the deal!
Here is my weekly assessment.
Last Week’s/This Week’s Weigh In: 241/239
Last Week’s/This Week’s Measurements:
Chest:44/44
Waist:49/46
Thighs:28/28
Calves:17.5/17.5
Arms:17.5/17.5
Shoulders: 55/55
Observations so far: First I have to say that I think this supplement is the real deal. I can’t be sure about the first few days, but by day 3 I was noticing marked improvements in motivation and aggressiveness in the gym. Water weight was starting to drop off really quickly too. Mental acuity was up after a few days when my rest was adequate. I have noticed very little soreness after switching up my routine for the week, so I think recovery is up. My libido has been through the roof. Toward the end of the second week on Rise and Swell I was noticing some itchiness in my nipples, but that has not happened again since starting Elimistane. At this rate, next week can only get better.

while a million dollars isn't what it used to be,,,,daily bj's are worth their weight in gold, their worth will never 'go down'Daily blow jobs and a cool million dollars is all that is coming to mind. Hah.
Haha! Yeah, this ones a keeper. She knows how to keep me happy.
I'm pretty excited about that. Next week should prove interesting as the weights are going up, volume is going down, and cardio will be increased.3 inches off the waist! Nice job! Daily consistency is the ticket.
Fortunately I still have good jeans and shirts I haven't been able to wear for awhile to fall back on!Time to go shopping for pants!
It's paying off enough to stoke that fire that's been lit under my ass. Can't wait to train tomorrow!Great attention to detail up in here and it's paying off physically!
Thanks man! This week we're taking things up a notch.Great update! Lets keep the ball rolling
My wife has always said it's good for her teeth and hair if you ever need to build a strong case.Bj's are always good, but if they don't like the shot of protein it isn't quiet as good :frustrate
my 2nd wife was like that....she had to go though....she was a little bit too much into sharing her affections, lol.
3rd time is a charm!!!
Third wife is the charmNever been married! Hahahaha
The trick is to be already poor. Or invest all your moneyWell I'm screwed then because I haven't even gotten married yet! Fark! I'm gonna be poor after two divorces! ?
I started the Rise and Swell again with L-Arginine and Elimistane right after I woke up. Thirty minutes later I ate, took the rest of my supplements, and downed my PWO’s with coffee. I noticed immediately that I was way more energetic today than last week. I still put water weight back on over carb up days, but didn’t feel as flat or bloated as usual. I started my workout about 45 minutes later. I’m going back to my upper/lower split this week. I’m still getting that alpha aggressiveness and the libido is still up. Today was the lower part of my split.
Duration: 1 hour 20 minutes
Warm Up: Barbell Squat 45x5, 95x5, 115x5, 135x5, 155x5, 175x5, 195x3, 215x3, 235x3
Low-bar Back Squat: 255x5 for 3 sets
Deadlift: 275x5 for 2 sets
Stiff-legged Deadlift/Barbell Calf-Raises Super Set: 205x8/205x30 for 2 sets
HIIT: None
Total Calories/Macros: 2,332 Protein 226g Carbs 26g Fat 146g
Notes: It was another cold day in the garage. I made sure to warm up adequately and kept the space heater on my legs between working sets. Fighting through those last few reps is really giving me some euphoria and feeding the ego. Unfortunately, by the end of the second superset I tweaked my back. I guess I should have kept some heat directed there as well. I finished the set and called it quits for the day. The strain isn’t too bad. I’m going to nurse it and keep the Bengay handy. Tomorrow I should be fine to lift and do cardio. I’ll probably be using my belt though.
Welcome to Snap City!
Population: Me
sorry about the back....stay in bed and excercise that increased libido!!!
Thanks. It should be fine by tomorrow. It isn't even too bad. I just didn't want to risk aggravating it further and messing up the rest of my routine this week. I think it's about time to implement a base layer and kick the space heaters up a notch. The tweaked back means I get a free pass to do as little of the work as necessary while exercising said libido. Haha. :1244:
You know it.that is smart, the body has a way of telling us when it needs a break....have fun rocking and rolling that hoochie koo
This is one of those recurring spots I have trouble with in the lower back from being a dumb ass teenager. The temperature issue is the only downside I've found to the garage gym so far. Well, that and waging war on the spiders in the summer. I'm glad my knees at least held up and the legs still felt like jelly afterward. Live to lift another day! That was my first thought. A cold back. Like you said, put on some more layers of clothing. Keep that back warm and loose. I've dealt with back injuries for years now. I'm always cautious about it.
