Without knowing anything about phase 2, I would say westside-style conjugate is over most newbie-intermediate level lifters' heads. It hinges on your ability to successfully evaluate what you need to progress, as well as constantly evaluating what does and doesn't seem to be working, then applying that knowledge to refine your approach over time.
It's a great program but it is designed with the very longterm picture in mind, not immediate progress, and it demands technical proficiency in the lifts. If you don't have a coach or team guiding you I would look elsewhere for now.
