after injection red turned black lump

daemonium

For the first time after an injection i saw my ass in the mirror and said.. "what the ****..."
48hrs later, i've got the usual lump since i use strong concentration gear 3%ba, 20%bb), but this time it was red and a bit hot (not to mutch) and no pain at all.
The size was about 1.5inchx2.5inch, and red, and next day got some small redish marks in a small part inside it, like I had hit hard with it!
Next day the redness subsided, but some black marks showed up!
It didn't spread, but just turned black in some parts just like i have hit with it! this is day 4 after injection...

Im not sure if it a abcess or any infection, because i'm sure it would turn redder and hotter, and the lump would increse (the lump is decresing), and never got any before so I'm not sure what this might be...

I have some cephalexin, enough for any problem just in case!

Altough i dunno if it sould be necessary to take it.. it also might be a hematoma for any reason.. the injection went fine adn steady and it's often rotated(10 days)! maybe need more rotation..

any opinions/experiences?

here's pic (shitty, but only have a cell) the marks don't appear as black as they are.

heating pad at night and douse a tissue with rubbing alcohol and apply to the area a few times a day.

some should sink into the skin and kill any slight bacteria that might be present.

Ive had the same situations before and this takes care of the situation.

do not use this spot for a little while either.

Hard to say but it could be a bruising mark
thks matt

I'm not too worried because i don't have any pain and the lump is diminishing... but just to be safe i posted since i've never got this before and didn't wanted to start jumping on cephaloxin be myself before hearing some opinions!
