Carbs around workout. Extremely low fat around workout as well. Whole meal to start the day not a shake. Whole foods instead of shakes whenever possible.
lift first thing in the morning after meal 1 consisting of protein and fat. Usually eat 4-5 meals a day. First feeding usually 10am last is around 10pm
I personally like fats with my carbs (10-15g) pre wo to keep blood sugar level stable but just find what works best for you. If you are cutting carbs I would recommend keeping them Peri wo for performance reasons to keep LBM but it's not 100% set in stone
