Hi guys, I recently had a blood test as part of investigation into hair loss on my legs. I had the flu approximately 4 days before I was tested and I had low normal testosterone 12.3 nmol and low normal shbg- 23.2 nmol. I have seen that acute infections can cause a significant drop in test for a period of period, but does anyone know wether that could effect shbg levels also? Cheers!
