I'm sure we have users of the devices mentioned on the thread title here.

I would like to hear opinions and experiences on using said devices. I've never owned any kind of stuff like that, other than a Polar sportwatch/pulsemeter, long before smartphones. I was looking into Oura ring, but the membership with monthly fee kind of bugs me. I also read some reviews, that questioned and some outright called BS on the accuracy of the Oura ring's ability to measure sleep related values.

So what do you guys use and what do you think of the device's abilities on measuring sleep cycles, falling asleep time, overall sleep time etc. and pulse oximeter feature's accuracy and WO related info it measures/gives.

Cheers

My wife bought me an Apple Watch years ago, and I thought I would never appreciate what it was designed for. I was wrong, and two of my top uses for it are sleep tracking and distance measurements (steps and walks).

I’m happy with how it tracks my sleep time and interruptions, and I find it mostly accurate, with an occasional glitch if I’m tossing and turning for a night. I will get out of bed to go fetch my watch just to get an estimate of my sleep for that night.

I also enjoy some other uses, such as certain reminders, texts, quick “Siri” requests, etc.

I will buy another smartwatch after this one.

Apple Watch is king. I have series 8. Could get away with the cheaper SE but I really wanted the always on display and a few other benefits. It has a ecg, it pairs with the health app on iPhone so well and tells me a bunch of health stats (vo2 estimate, stride balance, stride length, heart recovery time, and more. It’s dope.

I use the fitbit watch, Versa 2. I've used Fitbit for a while now, but also it seems to integrate pretty well with lots of different things (running apps, scales, etc.). Doesn't have all the bells and whistles of an apple watch, but I haven't bought into the full apple ecosystem.

I went from charge 2 to charge 4 to versa 2 to versa 3 and then Apple Watch 8. Worth every bit of that Apple ecosystem lol
