Acne and body building

Hey guys,

I was wondering if you guys have any tips to keep acne on the back and elsewhere to a minimum? I find this difficult due to the high calorie intake/ intense training which we must go through. I am already aware of not taking warm showers and not sleeping with many blankets. Will acne worsen when starting a ph cycle?

Thank you

how bad are we talking? If it is mild OTC products should work well if it gets bad I would see a dermatologist. None of the OTC products worked for my acne a few years back not to mention most of them are very harsh on your skin

It's not too bad, it's just that it would be nice to take off a shirt without thinking that I have some acne on my back. I'm going to try using the proactive soap that machorox suggested and hopefully it will do the trick. But will the acne get worst while doing a ph cycle? Thank you

That should work fine then since it is a mild case. If your skin gets too dry from the soap you should use some noncomedogenic moisturizer after you shower (won't clog the pores). Acne may flare up during the time that your hormones are at a flux such as at the beginning of your cycle or during pct but it shouldn't be a huge issue once your body reaches equilibrium again. It also depends what product you are running the more androgenic the product the higher risk of acne as a side.

Thanks a lot bigdavid, I did noticed that in the past sometimes my skin would get very dry when using acne treatment products. So I'll definitely look into a noncomedogenic moisturizer :) I think that I'm having more breakouts on my back since I'm currently away from home so I don't have any products to use on it. So once I get back home, hopefully everything will get back to normal and better with the advice given :)
