Acessing Alternate Universes

Isn't this why we take hallucinogens to begin with? Not to talk to alternate universes, but to alter ours and expand our thoughts and reality?

I think a lot of times people feel the need to justify taking drugs like this. They have to make it a whole big philosophical/intellectual experience instead of just admitting that they like how it makes them feel.

What do you guys think of this? Lol

This stuff is super interesting to me. I've been reading a good amount of books recently on quantum mechanics and other theoretical physics and I actually came across this theory in one of the books - that we can access other universes by altering our brains.

Another theory is that when we dream, we are accessing another universe too.

"Biocentrism" is a good one I just finished not too long ago.

Also about halfway through "Future of the Mind" by Michio Kaku (the physicist you see on The Universe on the History Channel). This one talks about all the most recent research regarding the power of the brain. Really interesting.

A guy at work was talking up 2012 being a time where humans were going to evolve and become fourth dimension beings. 2012 came and went, the world didn't end, and no dimension shift I'm aware of. But real life shut him up at least LOL

OK guys, I'm going to find out tonight about the validity of this study. Stay tuned.

The problem is, there's no way anyone could ever prove it. These types of things will always be theory.

Even if we do visit parallel universes, how would we ever know that's what it is instead of just a byproduct of our brains biochemistry reacting to a drug or whatever?

Edit: Nevermind. I get the joke now haha

No.

Ego-smashing drugs like psychedelics don't always compare to the pleasant buzz of being high on weed, ethanol, coke, opiates, etc.

Only one I've ever tried was salvia divinorum. Was a very bizarre experience. Would try real MDMA if I knew it was real.

I didn't say they were the same "high."

real MDMA doesnt make you feel high unless combined with something else (ex: weed/alcohol). In fact, thats a very easy way to determine whether or not you have MDMA, or something else like meth. Your eyes get huge but you dont feel high. Real MDMA is almost hallucinogenic and very fun if you can actually get it.

My wife likes MDMA, but I don't touch that crap. Even taking 5-htp doesn't help the serotonin depletion and I basically feel like crying for a week straight.

I had the opportunity to do real MDMA once but turned it down. But once we got to where we were going for Spring Break and I got drunk I thought it was a good idea and bought some Ecstasy. It was more mild and drawn out than my friends experience with MDMA it seemed like.
