Acarbose: Glucose baby. Anyone use?

So has anyone use Acarbose (Aka Glucobay) for physique improvement? It is a glucose modulating prescription and I have an in for it, so wanted to know the merits. The science looks good, but want to hear from anyone who has used it.

Also, I put this in this section since it is Grey area as in the description, and not a supplement. If it needs to be moved, feel free.

its an alpha amylase inhibitor, it inhibits digestion of carbohydrates and cuts insulin peaks.

Berberine, Salacia (species), banaba, can inhibit digestion as well

Some may not be able to take acarbose as it causes too much gastrointestinal issues for some, like high doses of berberine HCL (1500mg Per day) or salacia (720 mg per day)

i wouldnt touch it since there are supplements that have it, if you can get it free why not, just use low dose and increase accordingly
